SCREENING

Sample preparation quality is checked using our screening time (block of 4 hours, up to 8 grids). A collection of low-magnification maps is initially collected using SerialEM, allowing fast selection of the top grids based on the overall ice quality. After that, medium-magnification montages help to check the quality of the particles based on the ice condition. The top-selected grid can be imaged or stored for further analysis.
